THE SHIFT SERIES presents FEARLESS WOMEN CONFERENCE

  • Inspiring Women to make a SHIFT in their Thinking, Perceptions and Ideas
The FEARLESS WOMEN conference and interactive session by THE SHIFT SERIES for Delhi’s forward thinking women, held at Alliance Francaise de Delhi, saw Gutsy, powerful women who are game changers come together on a common platform to express their views and share their journey to success. Speakers like Dr. Devdutt Pattanaik; a renowned mythologist,  Sampat Pal Devi; founder Gulabi Gang, Shubha Mudgal; hindustani classical singer, Laxmi; transgender social activist, Nishtha Jain; filmmaker and Radhika Vaz; stand up comedian shared their experiences and spoke on role of women in the society.  FEARLESS WOMEN aims at inspiring women to make a SHIFT in their thinking, perceptions and ideas.


Promoted by a group of three mettlesome women, award winning author Anjali Raghbeer, Electrik Chakra designer Priyanjali Goel and trustee of tGELF Foundation Urvashi Khemka, The Shift Series provides the tools, media and mentors to think differently and helps people move towards their true potential.

Ms. Anjali Raghbeer, Promoter,The Shift Series says “These conferences and sessions are aimed at making a shift in thinking. We are focusing on different issues for different audiences. This is a platform where we as like-minded people get to listen and take lessons from stories that needed to be told. I believe that such mingling of people from various walks of life is required as our mindset needs to move beyond fashion and beauty. It’s just the beginning so that people start thinking.”

At the FEARLESS WOMEN conference Dr. Devdutt Pattanaik spoke on the roles of spirited women in Indian mythology. Sampat Pal Devi described how she fought against gender inequality with her powerful women band, THE GULABI GANG while Shubha Mudgal told us how she made a place for herself in the male dominated world of Hindustani Classical Music. Also present was Laxmi, the transgender, who spoke about her struggle for recognition of her community.

An insightful panel discussion on the Affairs of Infidelity, had panellists Lawyer Manali Singhal, Psychologist Yun Pang, Social Entrepreneur Anjana Somany and Actress and Producer-Director Elahe Hiptoola.
