India’s biggest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) film
festival is back. The 5th edition
of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival will be held May
21-25, 2014 at Liberty Cinema and May 22-24, 2014 at
Alliance Francaise de Bombay. This year the festival will screen the
largest collection of films at this festival - 154 films from 31
countries. “This year our festival boasts of 11 World, 17
International and 39 Asian premieres. We want the audience to come
and enjoy these amazing films”, said Saagar Gupta, director of
programming.
The
festival opens on May 21st evening
with an Opening Ceremony and the Opening Night Film at the iconic and
historic Liberty Cinema which is one the largest single screen
theaters in India. “This year we are also able to accommodate
everyone because of the large theater and for the first time, KASHISH
has opened its door to everyone for the Opening Night too”, said

for the festival are now open online and can be accessed

Registration is available at a nominal cost to cover delegate card
and festival catalog. Offline registrations are available at Liberty
Cinema from Monday May 12th to May 16th 2pm to 8pm.
