Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic celebrated World Earth Day

As part of its green initiative, M/s Blossom Kochhar Beauty Products Pvt Ltd (BKBP) celebrated World Earth Day. Reiterating its corporate philosophy of improving the environment by increasing the carbon footprints for the year 2014-2015 the company has taken up this initiative of “Going Green” across Delhi/NCR.


In a special ceremony, Dr. Blossom Kochhar, Chairperson and Ms. Samantha Kochhar, Managing Director, Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies, along with the entire Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic family started off with planting 40 plants near their exclusive COCO store Blosssom Kochhar “Earth To Bottle” in Hauz Khas Village.

To support the Go Green Initiative, Dr Blossom Kochhar, Chairperson, Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies, stated, “The nation is struggling to maintain its green belt and with the ever increasing pollution and environmental changes, we feel there’s a desperate need for everyone to plant as many trees as possible. Creating city forests should be a programme that every corporate entity should adopt wholeheartedly. The CSR initiative of Going Green portrays our company mission of being committed to the needs of the common people.”

Ms. Samantha Kochhar, Managing Director, Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies said, “Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic promotes the concept of holistic natural lifestyle and has been a firm believer of all things life giving – Trees being one of them. Hence, as a socially conscious organisation we are keen to give back to the nature through a tree plantation movement. To begin with, we have decided to plant as many trees as we can through an NGO “Give Me Trees Trust”, founded by Swami Parivartan, in and around Hauz Khas Village for beautifying the area and taking this initiative gradually to a larger scale.  This is also our own small undertaking to educate the society on the need to save the Mother Earth. ”
