A visual symphony of fabrics was seen, which took us into a world of glamour and sensuality. The second day of the fashion show witnessed a mélange of ethnic and printed ensembles.
The participating students were from Fashion Design Under Graduate Students, Fashion Design Post Graduate students, Lifestyle Accessories Graduation Project and Exhibition, Fashion Communication Graduation Project and Exhibition, Textile Design under Graduate Exhibition, B.Design Exhibition and D. C. Handloom and Fashion Design Display.
Speaking on the occasion Ms. Sonia Jaitleey the chief guest said, “The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. I wish goodluck to all the participants & all students of SFI for their future projects in their respective fields.”
On the occasion Ms. Manjulika Gautam, Director General, SFI said, “This gala event of SFI had the vivid colors and vast imagination of the promising designers. With the modern and cultural revolutions of fashion concept have under gone a tremendous change; fashion now is a perfect design, a technology, a science to be studied and to be communicated. Our fashion shows and events encourage our women students to realize their true worth and potential by engaging them in various themes. SFI nurture and nourish them to be self confident, self dependent and self conscious to make a dint in the global revolution of their own strength and carve a niche for them.”
